Dr. Klugh graduated from Washington State University College of veterinary Medicine in 1981. After 5 years of mixed practice, he began focusing his practice on the equine species in 1986. In 1999 that focus was limited to equine dentistry. He has passed the Basic, Advanced, and Examiner levels of Certification in Equine Dentistry administered by the International Association of Equine Dentistry. He is a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He has lectured at the Veterinary Dental Forum and at the wet lab at the annual meeting of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. Special interests include interceptive orthodontics, and periodontal disease. Current research projects include mastication physiology and composite material bond strength in equine dental decay. | ||||
